Diane Rath has been creating art her entire life. She divides her time between two of her favorite things - painting and teaching others to paint. Diane's student's credit her for teaching them how to love life, as well as how to paint. Her students quickly become her friends. At the beginning of 2011, when Diane's shocking news of cancer was announced it became evident how many wonderful lives she has touched. Diane was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. The cancer has spread to her other vital organs, her lymph nodes and intestinal lining.

This website was created for Diane to express awareness about her health, send positive wishes, sell featured artwork and collect contributions to go towards her medical expenses. We strongly encourage you to pass this website along to others. We are incredibly grateful for all of the positive thoughts, emotional support and love that has been expressed during this time.

ABOUT HER ARTWORK
Diane's art work has been recognized through prestigious awards, competitions and featured magazine articles. Her oil paintings continue to find homes all over the country as she paints full time from her studio in Lake Bluff, IL. All of the proceeds for these paintings will benefit Diane's medical costs. Diane teaches with a method that embraces kindness and enthusiasm towards her students. Students over the years credit Diane for not only teaching them all she learned throughout her Artist career but for helping them to become better people, life lessons in being positive and having an "I can do it" attitude from simply having experienced her way of thinking through her life.
